This post is solely based on my random thoughts today. Its a boring Saturday while Ken is at work so I have had plenty of time to let my mind wander :)
1. Have you ever been at a crossroads in your life? Gotten to a point where you know you have to make a decision that could change the course of your life for good... Ya, me too. I feel like Ken and I have been constantly coming up on junctions over the last year or so, and they just keep on coming! Good Grief can't life just settle down for like 2 seconds? Guess not! :) At least it keeps life interesting... Right?
2. I LOVE getting my hair cut! Well trimmed I should say. Ken would probably KILL me if I CUT it :) I've been trying to grow it out but the ends were splitting something horrible, so I went in today to get a trim and it was like Heaven! I just love how your hair feels so much more healthy after its trimmed!
3. I've always kind of wanted to try the whole headband thing, but I just never really thought I could pull it off. You know what I mean, those super cute girls with the pony tail and headband... Ok maybe its just me. But I bought a couple today and I'm going to try it out for church tomorrow :) We'll see how it goes!
4. I really like cheese quesadillas... Like I REALLY like them, I could eat atleast one everyday and be happy. I had one tonight in fact, and I was pleasantly suprised when I opened the pack of tortillas (which were a brand we had never tried before so i was a little skeptical) and found them to be probably the softest, most tasty tortillas I've ever had! It was awesome :)
5. I used to think that I preferred citrus scented candles above all others, but I realized today that the last 4-5 candle purchases I have made have all been more of a baked goods/foodsy type scent. Such as hazelnut, pumpkin spice, cinnamon ect... I guess I found my true preference :)
Such is the crazy wanderings of my mind! I hope you enjoyed it :)

I hate that feeling when you know there is a big decision to be made and you aren't sure which direction you want to go. No pressure, right?
I also love getting my hair done. I mostly just like getting it washed by someone else, the way it feels all soft and vibrant as if it's never been that clean before just because someone else washed it! I miss having roommates because we'd just sit and watch movies and play with each others hair. Warren will NOT do it for the life of him. It makes me sad.
I love a trim too! I went to Ulta tonight and got 4 headbands to try out bc I always wear my hair in a ponytail. I hope i can pull this off!
Kelsey- I totally know what you mean! My little sister used to do my hari all the time when I lived at home, then in college Natalee and I lived together and she would always do my hair for me! Ken likes to run his fingers through my hair, but only if its long... which is frustrating for me because my hair is real thick and heavy and keeping it long is sometimes tough!
Stacie- I have been seriously contimplating the whole headband thing for like a month lol I'm such a nerd! But I too almost ALWAYS wear a ponytail and I was feeling like I needed to spice it up a bit! I tried it out at church today and I really like it! It makes my ordinary ponytail seem just a little more dressy! The ones I chose weren't very flashy, just black, but Im thinking I might like it enough to branch out a little! Bring on the jewels!! (haha MAYBE!) :)
Hope that you don't mind me commenting on here but I saw that your blog was updated from visiting Juli's so I stopped by. Anyway just wanted to say that I totally agree about life calming down a little. I wish that life would take a break from all the craziness and just let things be boring for a change (wouldn't that be nice?). So I just thought that I'd let you know that you aren't alone in feeling like that (in fact I was thinking the same thing just this morning). It may not make any difference but hopefully knowing that you aren't alone will give you a boost. I'm sure that you will make the right choice and I hope no matter what your path is a gentle one until you reach your next crossroads.
I love your random thoughts Al! Life is supposed to be challenging and always moving. But it is hard when we NEVER get a break. I have tried the headband thing and I can never get them to stay in. I've SO wanted the messy/sexy "did you just get out of bed?" hair, but I just can't get it to work for me. I switch my scentsy to try and make sure I don't do ALL baked goods scents in a row, it's my weakness too. Love you!
I loved your random thoughts. I love love love quesadillas too. Allison, go to Pioneer Woman.com and look under the cooking tab and search quesdillas- you will be in heaven.
